Day 1 [Dhaka to Kolkata by air, Kolkata to Bagdogra by Air, Bagdogra to Kalimpong by Car 75 km/3:30 hrs, Kalimpong Stay]:
Board your from Dhaka International airport for Kolkata as per the scheduled time in the morning. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, welcome assistance by our representative who will transfer you to Kalimpong, at an altitude of 1250 meters, Kalimpong is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway. Its clement weather has made Kalimpong’s orchids and gladiole well renowned. Up to the early 1700s, the Kalimpong area was part of the Sikkim raja’s domain. In the early 18th century, the Bhutan king also took it over. In 1865, after the Anglo-Bhutan War, it was annexed to Darjeeling. Scottish Missionaries came here in the late 1800s. The town thrived as a wool trading centre with Tibet till 1950s. Today it’s a quiet hill resort and a haven for retired people. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Post refreshment spend the evening with leisure. Stay overnight in Kalimpong.
Day 2 [Kalimpong full Day Side Scene, Kalimpong to Darjeeling by Car 50 km/2:30 hrs & Darjeeling Stay]
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit for the sightseeing aroud Kalimpong that includes Zang Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery, Thongsa Gumpa and Flower Nurseries.
In the afternoong, go for a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong, visiting Zang Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery, Thongsa Gumpa and Flower Nurseries.
Later start diving towards Darjeeling. Upon arrival check into your hotel, and post refreshment spend the day with leisure. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 3 [Darjeeling Full Day Side Scene & Darjeeling Stay]
This morning, get up early to visit Tiger Hill to witness a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Ranges like Kanchandzonga and Mount Everest. On a clear day, you can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. From there, proceed to Ghoom Monastery, which is the area’s oldest Monastery, built in 1875.
On your way back from Tiger Hill, you can see the 15 feet tall image of Mythey Buddha, Buddhist Monastery.
Return to your hotel for a breakfast and proceed for a city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Japanese temple, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Tea Estate (from outside), Batasia Loop, Toy train & drop them to roap way point.
Post lunch rock garden, Japanese temple. Return to your hotel and overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 4 [Excursion to Mirik 60 km/3 hrs, Later drop to Bagdogra Airport 45 km/2 hrs, Bagdogra to Kolkata by Air, Kolkata Stay]:
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel, drive for Mirik which is famous for his “Mirik Lake”. The other name is “Sumendu Lake” surrounded by green pine. A 3.5-km-long road encircles the lake and is used for walks with the view of Kanchenjunga on the far horizon. Boating on the quaint shikaras and horse riding are available on direct payment basis. Later start driving towards Darjeeling. Upon arrival at Kolkata airport, get a transfer to the hotel. Check into the the hotel, post refreshment spend the day with leisure. Stay overnight in Kolkata.
Day 5 [Kolkata half day Shopping & Kolkata to Dhaka by Air]:
After breakfast spend half day with shopping and other personal activities. Later take your flight for Kolkata international airport to board your flight for Dhaka and reach Dhaka safely in the evening.
